It all started with a dress.
I remember like it was yesterday. I was 20 and I fell in love with this gorgeous dress. It was not any other dress. It was a BCBG dress (yup, $500). This was my first purchase with my first credit card. The rest is history...
During college, I took a lot of trips (when I say a lot, I really mean a LOT), bought a lot of random stuff and went crazy during Christmas. After university, I got my first job in a big firm. So the smart thing to do is to pay your debts, right? I started paying them but got tempted on the way... One, my office is just located above a shopping center. Two, I work so hard. I have to reward myself sometimes. Three, you only live once. That being said....... I just got my Visa statement and I have spent over $2,000 in one month!! I have no idea where it went. Well, kinda... There was a sale at Banana Republic, I went to Sephora, bought my Nike Dunk Sky Hi shoes, went crazy at Zara, and so on... Okay, so this is really embarrassing. But hey, this blog is called True confessions so I get to confess anything I want, right?
Here's my confession for today: I am a shop-a-holic (well duh!)
If I see something I want, I would buy it instantly. I shop when I'm happy and shop when I'm sad. I shop when I'm bored and shop when I'm mad. I shop by myself and shop with my friends. I shop when the seasons changed... you see what I mean.
