Oh my goodness, how have I NOT blogged about my Clarisonic?
Clarisonic takes washing your face to the next level. Seriously, I've had it for a while now and I can definitely tell you that I'm obsessed with the Clarisonic. Okay, let's start with the CONS... Yes, it's a bit pricey ($139 to $250). Ha, that's all I can think of... My biggest worry when purchasing the Clarisonic was that I wasn't going to use it enough. I have a tendency to buy products that end up sitting on the shelf. I'm happy to report that I use the Clarisonic in my daily routine.
Now the PROS:
- Removes every last trace of makeup. Foundation, bronzing powder, blush, oils, dirt, and pollution all collect on your skin during the course of the day. Ladies, ever wash your face the regular way, and then run a cotton pad doused with toner across it? Does it not blow you away how much makeup it picks up? This is where Clarisonic comes in. Normally, I remove all my makeup with facial wipes, then use a cleanser and the Clarisonic to wash my face.I use Purity ($26) as my cleanser ~ really gentle, yet cleans your face without drying. I use it in the shower because it's easiest that way. This removes makeup like nothing else I've ever tried.
- Makes my skin feel soft and smooth. My skin tone has evened out, my pores have gotten smaller and my skin is looking more toned. When skin is cleansed properly, it means dirt is effectively removed from pores which means pores will appear smaller. My mask and moisturisers did absorb to my skin better.
The list goes on and on. I know without a doubt that my skin is as clean as it can possibly get. There is something satisfying about getting every last ounce of makeup off of your skin. The Clarisonic comes with a removable brush head, and you are supposed to change it out periodically. There are different brush heads for different types of skin (acne, sensible, normal, etc..)
It makes washing your face at night fun and not a chore. If you're looking to change up your skin routine, start here!
