When feeling naughty, eat a kale chip.
Jennifer Aniston revealed that she put herself on a super strict diet in preparation of her role for her upcoming flick. Her secret: "When I really wanted to have a cheat day, I had to have a kale chip."
Yes, that's right, kale was her cheat meal. I'm putting down my cake pop as I speak...
Kale is the "it" health food these days. It's everywhere: in salads, stir-frys, green smoothie (yup, I have been happily having green smoothies every morning for months). And now, even as kale chips! What's a kale chip? Well, it's like a vegetable crisp. Only healthier.
Feeling naughty like Aniston? Eat a kale chip! Here's an easy recipe for crispy kale chips.
Ingredients:
1 bunch of kale
olive oil
salt
1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F. Line non insulated cookie sheet with parchment paper.
2. Wash, dry kale and tear into bite size pieces.
3. Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle with salt (or paprika).
4. Bake until the edges brown (10-15 min).
