Update!

Sorry people.

I know I know... I've been a bad blogger for the last months. Yup, I'm still alive. I keep telling myself I have to update you all about my exciting life. Honest to god. I did not do a single thing of my 'to do' list. Nada. Niet.

Instead of doing meaningful things, I've been spending my weekends in my pj's watching The Bachelor, The Real World, and my new obsession Rich Kids of Beverly Hills (yes, I love those dumb reality shows). Seriously, February is definitely the most depressing month of the year!! Christmas celebrations are over, New Year's Resolutions have been thrown out the window and well, it's winter and it's freaking cold... oh, and let's not forget Valentine's day! Since everyone around me was loveydovey... why not buy a gift 'To: Me, From: Me'

I bought the new Elie Saab fragrance called L'Eau Couture and I fell in love immediately. The bottle is very simple and elegant and the smell is perfect for spring time. Love it!

My gift

So one positive thing: February is finally over. Hello Spring! Yesterday, I decided to go out (yup finally!). I had dinner with my two former colleagues, now my besties. We usually go dinner to Jardin de Panos - our second home. Ah! I don't know why, but we always end up there.  Okay so nothing fancy here...just your typical Greek restaurant. If you're looking for a rustic chicken or filet mignon brochette, with the regular salad and rice, go ahead and try it. Most important thing to know here is : bring your own wine :)

Lots of good memories

OMG. Next thing on my 'to do' list is to learn the Heimlich maneuver!!! A man sitting just a few tables from us started choking. Do you all know what to do if someone around you is choking? Really. I did NOT know. I had no clue and felt completely helpless. Luckily, the waiter and another customer immediately assist the poor man.

To help an adult or child who is choking severely:
  1. Explain what you're going to do so the person doesn't panic.
  2. Approach the person from behind and put your arms around their waist.
  3. Make a fist with one hand with the thumb pointing in. Place this hand along the middle of their abdomen between their belly button and their breastbone.
  4. Put your other hand on top of your fist.
  5. Firmly thrust your hands inwards and upwards.
  6. Repeat until the person coughs up the object they're choking on.

Conclusion: chew your food properly.
